For Community Partners & Professional Referrers
Creating Pathways to Specialized Sexual Trauma Counselling
At our Specialty Trauma Clinic, we recognize the essential role community organizations play in supporting survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault.
We are a specialized virtual counselling practice providing trauma-informed therapy for teen girls (14+) and women impacted by sexual abuse and sexual assault.
Our goal is to collaborate with organizations and professionals by providing an additional pathway to specialized, longer-term trauma therapy for individuals who may benefit from ongoing clinical support.
Our Approach to Partnership
We understand that community organizations provide critical services, including crisis support, advocacy, safety planning, and counselling.
Our role is to complement—not replace—the important work already being done by community providers.
We recognize that some individuals may continue to need specialized trauma therapy after completing short-term services, while others may be seeking a clinician with specific expertise in sexual trauma.
Through thoughtful referral partnerships, we aim to support continuity of care and help survivors access appropriate therapeutic support.
Referral Pathways
Individuals may access our services through several pathways:
1. Private-Pay Therapy
Nada Johnson Consulting & Counselling Services including our Specialty Trauma Clinic is a full-fee private counselling practice for individuals seeking specialized trauma therapy.
2. Insurance-Supported Therapy
Clients with extended health benefits may be able to access coverage depending on their individual insurance plans.
3. Community Referral Partnerships
We welcome conversations with organizations interested in creating referral pathways for individuals who may benefit from specialized sexual trauma counselling.
Partnership referrals are reviewed based on clinical fit, therapist availability, and the needs of the individual.
Our Referral Process
1. The referring organization identifies an individual who may benefit from specialized trauma therapy.
2. The individual provides consent to explore referral options.
3. A referral is submitted via email to info@nadajohnsonservices.com
4. Our team connects directly with the individual to discuss their needs, services, fees, and next steps.
Client confidentiality remains central to our work. Communication with referral partners occurs only with appropriate client written consent.
