Beyond Crisis™ is a specialized online clinic within Nada Johnson Consulting & Counselling Services, providing trauma-informed counselling across Ontario, Canada to adolescent girls (14+), women, couples, and families impacted by sexual trauma.
We recognize that experiences of sexual trauma can be shaped by culture, identity, and lived experiences. We welcome clients from diverse racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds and strive to provide care that respects each person’s unique context, perspective, and experiences.
Founded by Nada Johnson, BA, MSW, RSW, Beyond Crisis™ was created to provide specialized, compassionate care for those navigating the emotional, relational, and personal impact of sexual trauma. The clinic is grounded in trauma-informed care, anti-oppression, inclusion, collaboration, and respect, with an understanding that there is no single way to experience sexual trauma or move through healing.

Through Beyond Crisis™, Nada has developed a specialty clinic dedicated to supporting teen girls (14+), women, couples, and families navigating the impact of sexual trauma. Her vision for Beyond Crisis™ is grounded in the understanding that sexual trauma can affect emotional well-being, relationships, identity, trust, and everyday life long after the immediate crisis has passed.
As Founder and Clinical Director, Nada provides clinical leadership and direction for Beyond Crisis™ while continuing to provide trauma counselling alongside a team of Associate Trauma Therapists. Our Clinical Team
Beyond Crisis™ brings together a team of Associate Trauma Therapists with diverse clinical backgrounds, perspectives, and areas of expertise. While each Therapist bring their own experience and approach to their work, the team shares a common foundation in trauma-informed, ethical client-centred practice and the clinical values of Beyond Crisis™.
Our Associate Trauma Therapists work with adolescent girls (14+), women, couples, and families impacted by sexual trauma, recognizing the complex and varied ways trauma can affect individuals, relationships, and families.
Our team is here to provide thoughtful counselling support as clients move through their healing journey— beyond the crisis and toward what comes next.
